Welcome to the Astronomy Club at IU
Astronomy Club is a place for everyone interested in astronomy to connect, to learn more about astronomy, and to enjoy the night sky. Members can learn about research in the department, have access to the Department’s collection of telescopes, help out at Kirkwood Observatory Open Nights and First Saturday Solar Viewing events, volunteer at Science Fest and other outreach activities, and enjoy field trips and the Club’s semi-annual camp-outs and star parties.
The Club meets on every Monday (while classes are in session) at 6-7 PM in Swain West 130, with pizza!
Find the club on Instagram at the handle Astronomy Club @ IU (astroclub.iu)
Club activities are generously funded by the Leonard Family Undergraduate Activities in Astronomy Fund through the IU Foundation.
