An announcement that the comparison system for HYDRA has been overhauled. An
error in the wiring of the comparison lamp supplies was found for all supplies
and corrected. The supplies have been upgraded to provide proper current
settings for the ThAr and CuAr lamps. The result is a better spectrum for the
ThAr, more Thorium lines.
Also, ~$5300 was used to purchase all new lamps for HYDRA. The CuAr lamps were
past their end of life. The ThAr lamps were replaced based on fears that the
previous set was depleted. These lamps are serviceble, and will serve as the
reserve set.
