To set file permissions RUN
chown -R og-rwx DIR
***where DIR is the name of a directory. This command will change the permissions for the directory named DIR and all sub-directories. chown -R og-rwx /home/USER
***will change the permissions for the directory /home/USER and all sub-directories, including all files contained there under.
