Morgan-Monroe Forest Station is deep in the Moran-Monroe State Forest. The site currently contains a 0.4 meter (16 inch) Boller & Chivens classical Cassegrain. The 0.4 meter telescope is operated as an autonomous robotic telescope; more affectionately known as RoboScope. Data from RoboScope's observations are moved to IUB's campus via low speed modems where high speed computers reduce the data. Under nominal conditions, this data is available to researchers worldwide within 10 minutes of observation.
